Research/Job Area- Chemistry

Location- Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Pune

Eligibility/Qualification–

Minimum educational Qualification	Ph.D. in Chemistry (with specialization in Peptides) / Biochemistry / Cell Biology / Microbiology or any closely related field. Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis and are awaiting the award of their degree are also eligible to apply.
Preference	Candidates with hands-on experience in cell culture; experience in handling cytotoxicity studies of peptides, peptide antibiotics, and the mechanism of action of antimicrobial peptides; proficiency in confocal microscopy; and experience in handling animals will be preferred.

Ageas on the date of Walk-in interviews

35 years. Age relaxation commensurate with educational qualification/s and / or experience/s of the applicant may be considered for candidates having qualification and experience higher than the advertised with the prior approval of the competent authority.

Consolidated emoluments per month	Rs.58,000/- + 30% House Rent Allowance. Rs.42,000/- + 30% House Rent Allowance per month for candidates who have submitted their thesis and will be designated as Senior Research Fellow.
