Job Description

The selected candidate will:

  • Conduct laboratory and field studies to analyze the electrochemical and corrosion behavior of additively manufactured alloys.
  • Collaborate with industry and government sponsors.
  • Assess models for determining the extent of localized corrosion.
  • Manage laboratory facilities, update equipment, develop operation procedures, and ensure safety.
  • Support undergraduate and graduate research, and assist in guiding students.
  • Contribute to drafting proposals, reports, and research papers.

Preferred Experience:

  • Operating electrochemical instrumentation with DC and AC techniques.
  • Image analysis of optical and scanning electron micrographs.
  • FEM modeling.
  • Effective interaction with undergraduate and graduate students.
