Eligibility/Qualifications:
- Must have a doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign qualification by the appointment decision date.
- Preference for candidates who obtained their degree no more than three years prior to the application closing date (exceptional circumstances may apply).
Additional Requirements:
- Experience in culturing Helicobacter pylori with an emphasis on outer membrane proteins and their gene regulation.
- Proficiency in molecular biology techniques for assessing gene expression.
- Background in co-culturing Helicobacter pylori with other bacteria or host cells.
- Experience in expressing and characterizing bacterial outer membrane proteins.
- Strong English communication skills (oral and written).

Job Description:
The primary focus of this position will be the characterization of outer membrane proteins involved in microbial adhesion and their interaction with host cell ligands in Helicobacter pylori, a significant bacterium linked to gastric cancer. You will work within a vibrant research group, contributing to various projects, with an emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration.
