Job Description & Tasks
- Combine species distribution models and quantitative genetics to evaluate the adaptive potential of plants.ย ย ย
- Contribute to a joint, interdisciplinary research environment integrating plant molecular biology, evolutionary genetics, and ecology.ย ย ย
- Participate in regular network meetings, interdisciplinary exchanges, and training opportunities across the TRR 341 community.ย ย ย
Eligibility / Qualification
- Education: A PhD in a relevant field such as computational biology, evolutionary genetics, or plant ecology.ย ย ย
- Background: Ideally possesses a background in population genetics, quantitative genetics, computational biology, or equivalent fields.ย ย ย
- Knowledge: Good basic understanding of species distribution modelling and evolutionary biology.ย ย ย
- Technical Skills: Strong computational capabilities, including proficiency in Bash, R, or Python.ย ย ย
- Communication: Excellent oral and written English communication skills.ย ย ย
