Eligibility / Qualification

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of academic/industry experience, OR
  • Master’s degree and 3+ years of academic/industry experience, OR
  • PhD in Chemistry with no previous years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry with 0-2 years of additional related research experience.
  • Demonstrated ability in the design and multistep synthesis of complex organic molecules using modern techniques.
  • Experience with machine learning, computational tools, parallel synthesis, or advanced technologies for chemistry research.
  • Expertise in the purification and characterization of organic compounds.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, communication skills, and understanding of synthetic methods and reaction mechanisms.

Job Description

  • Design and synthesize novel compounds aimed at treating human diseases, specifically focused on Oncology.
  • Address project-specific challenges by applying advanced organic chemistry techniques and contemporary medicinal chemistry strategies.
  • Identify, design, and synthesize novel therapeutic compounds by integrating computational and automated chemistry approaches.
