Eligibility/Qualification
Minimum Qualification and Experience:
- Ph.D. OR
- Postgraduate degree with 3 years of relevant experience in thin film electronics.
Desirable Qualification and Expertise:
- Experience after Ph.D. in the following areas:
- Hands-on experience with thin film deposition techniques (PVD, CVD, ALD, coating).
- Experience with electrical and optical characterization techniques (e.g., I-V, C-V, ellipsometry, microscopy, profilometry, AFM, SEM).
- Experience working in a Class 10000 or better cleanroom environment.
- Familiarity with electro-optical properties of thin film encapsulations for electronic devices such as photovoltaics and OLEDs.
Job Description
The Project Scientist will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Development of thin film encapsulation for electronic devices on both glass and polymer substrates.
- Supporting the installation and maintenance of thin film deposition equipment (e.g., CVD and PVD).
- Designing experiments for process development.
- Developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and implementing quality standards.
- Preparing presentations and reports.
Salary Range
- ₹ 31,600 – ₹ 2,600 – ₹ 78,400 per month (based on qualification).
Tenure
- Initially for a period of one year, purely on a temporary and contractual basis. May be extended up to 3 years.
