BRIC-Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI), an institute under the Biotechnology Research and Innovation Council, Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, has announced walk-in recruitment for six short-term project positions. Eligible candidates may attend the written test, skill test, or interview on the date specified for each post.

Designation and Vacancy Details
- Data Manager: 1 post; Rs. 56,000 plus HRA per month; maximum age 35 years.
- Project Assistant: 1 post; Rs. 40,000 per month; maximum age 40 years.
- Project Research Scientist-II: 1 post; Rs. 67,000 plus HRA per month; maximum age 40 years.
- Project Technical Support-II: 1 post; Rs. 20,000 plus HRA per month; maximum age 30 years.
- Scientific Administrative Assistant: 1 post; Rs. 18,000 plus HRA per month; maximum age 50 years.
- Multi-Tasking Staff: 1 post; Rs. 20,000 per month; maximum age 30 years.
Research Area
- Data Manager: Etiopathogenesis of systemic inflammation in acute pancreatitis and its progression to chronic pancreatitis.
- Project Assistant and Project Research Scientist-II: Placenta Health Project—adaptive dose-finding platform in India.
- Project Technical Support-II: Multiplex bead-based detection of viral nucleic acids in human, animal, and environmental samples across Delhi NCR.
- Scientific Administrative Assistant: Trans-encoded sRNA-mediated gene regulation in stress adaptation and pathogenesis of Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
- Multi-Tasking Staff: Global Scales for Early Development 2.0—population norms for early childhood development under 36 months.

THSTI, NCR Biotech Science Cluster, 3rd Milestone, Faridabad-Gurugram Expressway, Faridabad, Haryana–121001. Some positions may require work at associated clinical sites.
Eligibility and Qualifications
Data Manager
Master’s degree in any field, preferably science, with six years of post-qualification experience in clinical data management, clinical research, operations, MIS, data analysis, IT, computer science, or healthcare; or a graduate degree with eight years of relevant post-qualification experience.
Desirable qualifications include a diploma in IT, computer applications, or clinical data management; familiarity with industry-standard clinical data management systems; and programming skills. Exposure to Python, R, Tableau, or Power BI is advantageous.
Project Assistant
Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university with at least three years of relevant post-qualification experience. Candidates should be proficient in MS Office, Excel, Tally, accounting, and budgeting. Prior experience managing clinical trials is desirable.
Project Research Scientist-II
Postgraduate degree, including an integrated postgraduate degree, in Life Sciences from a recognized university with at least three years of post-qualification research laboratory experience; or an awarded PhD in Life Sciences.
Project Technical Support-II
Class 12 in Science with a diploma in MLT, DMLT, or equivalent and five years of relevant post-qualification experience; or a three-year graduate degree in any branch of Life Sciences with two years of relevant post-qualification experience.
Scientific Administrative Assistant
Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
Multi-Tasking Staff
Class 12 or Intermediate from a recognized board or institution with at least one year of office-work experience in a reputed organization. Basic knowledge of office procedures, equipment, and computers, along with communication, interpersonal, multitasking, and confidentiality skills, is desirable.
Job Description
Data Manager
- Manage all data-management activities for the assigned project, including database setup, maintenance, testing, audit, and closure.
- Prepare and review data-management plans, validation plans, edit checks, annotated CRFs, and data-entry guidelines.
- Handle queries, data cleaning, freezing, transfer, extraction, reporting, visualization, confidentiality, and archiving.
- Develop SOPs and working-practice documents, train staff, supervise site activities, and coordinate with stakeholders.
Project Assistant
- Prepare notifications and letters and monitor file movement in the administration office.
- Schedule online and in-person meetings for the principal investigator.
- Manage inventory, interventional-product cold-chain requirements, attendance, and leave records at study sites.
- Coordinate with study sites and HR, including follow-up regarding new staff appointments.
Project Research Scientist-II
- Process clinical samples and extract lysates for spectral data acquisition using mass-spectrometry and kit-based approaches.
- Use online databases for spectral-data and pathway analysis.
- Apply statistical tools and machine-learning algorithms to clinical and biochemical datasets.
- Analyze chemical-profiling data using R packages and vendor tools, integrate results, write reports, and prepare presentations.
Project Technical Support-II
The selected candidate should be familiar with common laboratory techniques, including gel electrophoresis, molecular assays, and serological assays.
Scientific Administrative Assistant
- Manage calendars, meetings, and travel for scientific teams.
- Coordinate grant applications and maintain funding records.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and scientific documents.
- Maintain databases and accurate records.
Multi-Tasking Staff
- Provide day-to-day office support, including filing, photocopying, document organization, inventory, and correspondence.
- Maintain physical and digital records and assist with mail, courier, delivery, and dispatch.
- Support office upkeep, meetings, hospitality, and visitor guidance.
- Perform other duties assigned by the principal investigator. The position is based at MRC, THSTI, with occasional clinical-site visits.

- Appointments are short-term and may be extended based on satisfactory performance and project tenure.
- Qualifications must be obtained from recognized boards or universities, and required experience is counted after obtaining the minimum qualification.
