Eligibility/Qualification

Candidates must meet the prescribed academic and experience requirements:

• Ph.D. in the relevant subject, OR
• Master’s degree in the relevant subject.
• Bachelor’s degree of 3/4/5 years as applicable, with First Division or equivalent overall grade point average.
• At least 3 years of relevant teaching/research experience, supported by fellowship, associateship, training, or other relevant engagements.
• At least one research paper published in a Science Citation Index (SCI) or NAAS-rated journal with rating ≥4.0.
• Candidates possessing a Postgraduate degree in Basic Sciences with a 3-year Bachelor’s degree and 2-year Master’s degree must have NET qualification.

Job Description

The selected candidate will serve as a Teaching Associate in the Department of Agronomy at Agricultural College, Bapatla.

The appointment is purely temporary and contractual and will be for a maximum period of 11 months from the date of joining or until the regular post is filled, whichever is earlier.

The selected candidate will be expected to contribute to teaching and related academic/research activities in Agronomy as assigned by the University/Department.

Remuneration:

• ₹61,000 + HRA per month for candidates holding a Master’s degree.
• ₹67,000 + HRA per month for candidates holding a Ph.D.
• HRA will be provided according to applicable State Government rates and prevailing government orders.

Age Limit:

• Men: 40 years
• Women: 45 years

• The contractual engagement may be terminated at any time without prior notice or assigning a reason.
• Selected candidates must undergo a medical examination at their own expense as per applicable rules.
• Candidates leaving the contractual position must provide one month’s notice or pay one month’s salary in lieu of notice.
• The decision of the Selection Committee will be final and binding.
• The University reserves the right to cancel or postpone the interview due to unavoidable circumstances.
