Job/Position Description- Swinburne’s School of Science teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Physics and Biomedical Engineering. We have an agenda of building a strong research culture that includes international collaboration, competitive grants and high quality publications.
We currently have a newly created vacancy for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow.
In this role, you will undertake original research in the general area of physics (optics, lasers, microscopy, optical waveguides) and nanotechnology. You will be expected to make original and innovative contributions to the advancement of research in the field such as optical sensors, bio-medical optical applications, micro-/nano-photonics, 3D laser fabrication/printing, astronomy instrumentation.
