CSIR-IIIM, JAMMU and CSIR-IIIM BRANCH SRINAGAR invites application for Senior Project Associate from eligible and interested candidates

About- Eligible & interested candidates are invited for ONLINE INTERVIEW (Through Microsoft Teams) for the following purely temporary positions of PROJECT ASSISTANT,PROJECT ASSOCIATE–I, AND SENIOR PROJECT ASSOCIATE UNDER THE CSIR-AROMA MISSION PHASE-II (HCP-007) tenable at CSIR-IIIM, JAMMU.

5	Senior Project Associate (1 position)	i) M.Sc. in Botany from a recognized University or equivalent. AND Four years experience in R&D in the area of Medicinal& Aromatic Plants. OR ii)Ph.D. in Botany from a recognized University or equivalent.	Knowledge of Medicinal Aromatic plants cultivation and quality planting material generation. Fieldwork experience in Medicinal and Aromatic Plants preferred. and	The candidate may need to travel extensively throughout the country for the implementation of the project work.	40 Yrs	Rs. 42,000/- + HRA

1. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates as per GOI/CSIR Instructions. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD etc. should send their copies of certificates in the proper format issued by the appropriate authority as per the latest instructions issued on the subject.
2. Age relaxation for Widows, Divorced Women, and Women Judicially separated from Husbands, who are not remarried since, as per GOI/CSIR provisions.

Job/Position Description- 

The positions are co-terminus with the project HCP-007. The duration of the project is up to 31.03.2023 (HCP-007).The positions under different position codes may increase or decrease without any notice.   

How to Apply- 

1. Application form for a particular position code can be filled online in the Google Form using particular position code. Google Form link is available on the CSIR-IIIM website (www.iiim.res.in). Filled in Google Form should be submitted by or before 23.01.2022 (Sunday) up to 5:00 pm.   
2. Application Form submitted after the scheduled date and time i.e.23.01.2022 (Sunday) up to 5:00 pm shall not be entertained for Online Interview.

4. Only eligible candidates shall be accessed for the online viva-voce on the date of the Online Interview. The list of eligible candidates and date for the Online Interview will be displayed on CSIR-IIIM Website www.iiim.res.in by evening on 25.01.2022 (Tuesday).
5. The shortlisted candidates have to be available on the date of the Online Interview from 10.00 A.M. onwards and will be called anytime during the allotted time period (if any change is there, they will be accordingly intimated).
6. Eligible/shortlisted candidate shall attend the Online Interview through Video Conferencing on Microsoft Team.
