Designation/Position- Research Associate and Project Scientist
IBSD, Imphal, India invites application for Research Associate and Project Scientist from eligible and interested candidates
About- Applications are invited from deserved and suitable candidates for the post of 03 – Field Assistants/ Technical Assistants; 02 – Project Associate-I; 02 – Research Associate-I and 01 Project Scientist-II under the project entitled “Documentation and Validation of Traditional Healthcare Knowledge of Indian Himalayan Region: Translational approach” funded by Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India, under Himalayan Bioresources Mission, at IBSD, Imphal.
Research/Job Area- Life Science/ Zoology/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/any other equivalent degree
Location-
Eligibility/Qualification–
| Research Associate-I (02) | Ph.D Degree in Life Science/ Zoology/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/any other equivalent degree. Upper age limit – 35 |
| Project ScientistII (01) | Ph.D Degree in Science having 03 years of research experience in R&D in Industrial or Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations. Upper age limit – 40 |
The upper age limit is relaxable for reserved categories as per GoI norms.
Job/Position Description-
| Research Associate-I (02) | 47,000/- fixed per month + 8% HRA | 03 years or till the completion of the project whichever is earlier. |
| Project ScientistII (01) | 67,000/- fixed per month + 8% HRA | 03 years or till the completion of the project whichever is earlier. |
| Emoluments of research personal(s) mentioned in the table shall be applicable only if candidate(s) met educational qualification and eligibility criteria as per DST OM No.SR/S9/Z-08/2018 dated 30.01.2019. |
- The above positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. Selected candidates shall not claim for regular appointment either in IBSD, Imphal and its branches or DBT, New Delhi.
- No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview.
