About- Applications are invited for Project Scientist — Ill, Project Scientist — I, Project Associate — I and Scientific Administrative Assistant posts under the DBT-Bioinformatics Centre at SASTRA Deemed to be University, Thanjavur for the project titled “Integrating comparative genomics, structural bioinformatics & machine learning for antimicrobial resistance understanding, combating & surveillance”.

Eligibility/Qualification–

Project Scientist — III

Essential Qualification	Doctoral Degree in Science or Master’s degree in Engineering or Technology (Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Life Sciences or related and relevant disciplines) from a recognized University AND Seven years’ experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services
Desirable Skills	Proficiency in programming languages like PERL, R, Python etc. Experience in computational tool development and database creation (MySQL), microbial NGS data analyses, machine learning algorithm and structural bioinformatics. Excellent communication skills.

Project Scientist — I

Essential Qualification	Doctoral Degree in Science or Master’s degree in Engineering or Technology Essential (Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Life Sciences or related and relevant
