About- The Centre for Materials for Electronics Technology (C-MET) functions as an autonomous scientific society under the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), Govt. of India. Besides augmenting core competence, C-MET envisions the attainment of self-sufficiency in the sphere of Electronic materials, components and devices to cater to India’s strategic and industrial applications, exploiting indigenous resources of raw materials.     

  

Research/Job Area- Physics/Materials Science/Chemistry

Location- Centre for Materials for Electronics Technology (C-MET), Pune

Eligibility/Qualification–

Research Associate	1	Ph.D. in Physics/Chemistry/Materials Science.	Rs. 47,000/- per months plus 24 % HRA
Project Staff-I	3	M.Sc. Physics/Chemistry/Biochemistry, B.Tech – Polymer / Plastic Engineering. Desirable: Candidates having experience in organic electrodes / electrolytes will be preferred.	Rs. 31,000/- per months plus 24 % HRA
Project Staff-II	2	B.Sc. in /Physics/Chemistry, Diploma in Electrical Engineering.	Rs. 20,000/- per months plus 24 % HRA

Age: For Research Associate not exceeding 35 years and for Project Staff I/II not exceeding 28 years as on 06/10/2022. Age relaxation for various categories as per GOI norms.

Job/Position Description- 

C-MET invites eligible and highly motivated candidates for Walk-in-Interview on 06/10/2022 (Thursday) at 9:30 a.m. onwards to fill up the following temporary and time bound positionsunder Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Govt. of India, New Delhi Sponsored project entitled “Three-Dimensional Nanostructure based Miniaturized and Flexible rechargeable lithium batteries for flexible electronics” at C-MET, Pune. The positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the Project i.e., upto 14/05/2023. 

• Registration for Walk-in-Interview: Between 09.00 Hrs. to 10.00 Hrs on 6/10/2022.  

• Only short listed/screened-in candidates will be allowed for attending interview.

• Candidates are expected to bring their application/bio-data and produce original educational mark sheet & caste certificate etc. at the time of screening.

• Nature of Position: The engagement to the above positions is purely temporary and time bound as mentioned above.

• Depending upon the no. of candidates, the selection interviews can may get extended for the next day i.e on 07/10/2022 for the post of Project Associate-I & Project Assistant

Application Fee: Research Associate is Rs. 100/- and Project Staff I/II is Rs.50/- only by demand draft in favour of C-MET, Payable at Pune. No. application fee for SC/ST and Woman Candidates.
