Postdoctoral Researcher in Cancer Immunobiology : The Medical Immune Oncology Research Group (MIORG) at the University of Turku’s Institute of Biomedicine is seeking a competent Postdoctoral Researcher for a project on cancer immunobiology and immunotherapy. The project employs cutting-edge technologies and techniques in the field, and the successful candidate will have a Ph.D. degree in a related discipline and experience in single-cell staining for flow cytometry.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Ph.D. degree in a related discipline (cell biology, molecular biology, biomedicine, biochemistry, immunology, etc.)
- Experience in single-cell staining for flow cytometry
- Experience in drug discovery, drug preparation and functional control design for pharmacodynamic studies
- Other advantages include animal work experience, tissue culture methods, RNA isolation, quantitative RT-PCR, protein isolation, western blot, ELISA assays, tissue immunofluorescence techniques, statistics, bioinformatics, CyTOF, and R programming skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
Job Description:
The selected candidate will work on a project related to cancer immunobiology and immunotherapy using cutting-edge technologies and techniques. The candidate will be responsible for immune profiling of metastatic cancer samples and bioanalysis of animal and human tissues using flow cytometry.
