Postdoctoral positions for Microbiome: Jio Institute in Navi Mumbai, India, is seeking independent postdoctoral fellows for the Microbiome Therapeutics Laboratory. - Excellent communication skills and demonstrated independence through published peer-reviewed high impact publications
- Proficiency in Python and R programming
- Experience with high-performance computing
- Desirable: Independent research funding experience (past and current)
Job Description: The selected candidates will initially engage in microbiome modeling and analysis related to Fecal Transplants, microbial transmission, and antibiotic resistance. They are then expected to develop their own independent research projects. The positions offer opportunities to work closely with researchers from various institutions, including Jio Institute, Reliance Industries, and international collaborators. The candidates will be encouraged to apply for external research funding and will receive support in the application process.
