University of Hyderabad, India, invites applications for Project Scientist Position in UoH from eligible and interested candidates.

About- Indian nationals are invited to apply for a temporary position in the research project “Characterizing primary and induced Schwann cell cultures for Myelination: In vitro and In vivo studies” under ICMR grant. The post requires a PhD in Biological/Life, a minimum of one year of scientist-I month, and relevant laboratory experience in cell culture techniques, cell and Molecular biology techniques, and animal handling. The appointments are temporary and no TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview or joining the post.

Eligibility/Qualification–

Essential Qualifications	First Class Post Graduate Degree or Integrated PG Degree.
Desirable Qualifications	Since it is time-bound project, prior knowledge about renal physiology or experience in renal biology is desirable, but not mandatory.
Skills Required	The candidate is expected to have knowledge of cell culture and molecular biology techniques, efficient data acquisition and handling ability, and good laboratory practices. Candidate is intended to perform routine laboratory tasks such as protein isolation, SDS-PAGE, Western blot, RNA isolation, and RT PCR.
Age Limit	35 Years

Job/Position Description-

Position: Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical)

Tenure: 15 months only. No further extension is possible.

Type: Contractual and temporary

Fellowship: 56,000 INR + 27% HRA (as per funding agency)
