About- Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Pune, an institute of national importance, established by an Act of Parliament, under the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India under Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) mode invites applications from well-qualified and strongly motivated candidates with passion towards research and academics, to work as Assistant Professor (on Contract) purely temporarily, for eleven months in the area of Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, and Mathematics. Eligibility/Qualification–

Adjunct Assistant Professor (AAP)	Computer Science & Engineering	M. Tech in Computer Science & Engineering or equivalent. Both Graduation & M. Tech should be with First Class or Equivalent Grade.	10
	Electronics and Communication Engineering	Ph.D. (awarded/thesis submitted) in the relevant or equivalent discipline and shall have first class in the preceding degrees.	05
	Applied Science and Humanities	Ph.D. (awarded/thesis submitted) in the relevant or equivalent discipline and shall have first class in the preceding degrees.	02

Note: These positions are purely on a temporary and contractual basis for a period of 11 months, maybe extended based on performance.

Electronics & Communication Engineering	VLSI Domain, Communication, Signal Processing, Microelectronics, Microprocessors and Embedded Systems, Microwave Engineering, Opto-electronics, IoT in Healthcare or Automation, Automotive Electronics, Embedded System Design, LI-FI, Wireless or RF Communications, Wireless Sensor Network, Antennas, 5G, LTE, MIMO Technologies etc.

Candidates who have completed defense for the PhD before closing date for the receipt of the Application Forms will have to attach the Certificate / Notification mentioning that Candidate is declared eligible for award of PhD Degree.
- Desirable Experience: Minimum of one year will be preferred in Teaching / Research / Industry.
- Desirable Requirement: Candidate having PhD from CFTIs like IITs, NITs, IIITs, INIs etc. will be preferred. People with higher qualifications & good academic record shall be given preference.

Job/Position Description-

Primarily Teaching along with Academic, Administrative, Student Activities and Research related functions.
- Reporting To: Dean / Head of the Department or as advised from time to time.
Emoluments: Rs. 70,000/- per Month: PhD Holders (PhD Thesis submitted)
Rs. 1,00,000/-* per Month (Subject to approval of competent Authority)
Rs. 60,000/- per Month: Non-PhD Holders
Rs. 75,000/-* per Month: (Subject to approval of competent Authority )
