Indian Institute of Information Technology Kottayam invites applications for Contract Faculty position at IIIT from eligible and interested candidates.

About- Indian Institute of Information Technology, Kottayam at Valavoor, Pala, Kerala, is one of the IIITs established as “Institutions of National Importance” by the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India under the ambit of IIIT (PPP) Act 2017. IIIT Kottayam campus is situated at Valavoor, Pala, Kottayam – a picture location spread over in 53 acres of land – allotted by Govt. of Kerala in the southern part of the state commonly referred to as God’s Own Country.

Research/Job Area- Interdisciplinary areas of Computer Science & Engineering

Location- Indian Institute of Information Technology – Kottayam

Eligibility/Qualification–

Essential: Ph.D in the interdisciplinary areas of Computer Science & Engineering – in the allied areas of Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Big Data Analytics, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, Cyber Forensic etc. (Those who have submitted their Ph.D thesis also can apply).


Desirable:	(i) Post-Doctoral experience (ii) Teaching experience at UG/PG Level

Age : Preferably below 35 years as on closing date of application.

Job/Position Description-

Application from eligible Indian Nationals, with outstanding academic achievements, ability to establish a vibrant research programme, and with a passion for teaching, are invited for the following faculty positions of the Institute.

Contract Faculty in Computer Science & Engineering – Interdisciplinary Areas (On Contract – for two semesters – extendable)

Emoluments:

Consolidated amount of Rs. 70,000/- (Rupees Seventy thousand only) per month. Applicable TDS will be deducted as per existing provisions

Empanelment means the shortlisted candidates will be in the panel of IIIT Kottayam for ONE year w.e.f. the date of publication of result. They will be deployed as per the requirements of the Institute. Mere empanelment does not ensure deployment / Job in the Institute. Please note that securing an appointment/ a position in the empaneled list will not lead to a permanent position at the Institute after the relevant period. No claim whatsoever in this regard will be entertained under any circumstances.
