Eligibility/Qualification–
Minimum Qualification Norms for Direct Recruitment for the Position of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor are as under:
1. Assistant Professor
Level 10, Entry Pay- 57700/- Fixed
Remuneration Rs. 40000/-
Minimum Qualification:
Engineering/Technology
B. E. / B. Tech. /B. S. and M. E. /M. Tech. /M. S. or Integrated M. Tech. in relevant branch with first class or equivalent in any one of the degrees.
Management
Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline and Master’s Degree in Business Administration/PGDM/C.A./ICWA/M.Com. with first class or equivalent and two years of professional experience after acquiring the degree of Master’s degree.
2. Associate Professor
Level 13A1, Entry Pay- 131400/- Fixed Remuneration Rs. 92000/-
Minimum Qualification:
- Ph.D. degree in the relevant field and first class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch.
AND
- At least total 6 research publications in SCI journals/UGC/ AICTE approved list of journals.
AND
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in teaching/research/industry out of which at least 2 years shall be Post Ph.D. experience.
3. PROFESSOR
Level 14, Entry Pay- 144200/- Fixed
Remuneration Rs.101000/-
Minimum Qualification:
- Ph.D. degree in relevant field and First class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch.
AND
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in teaching/research/industry out of which at least 3 years shall be at a post equivalent to that of an Associate Professor.
AND
- At least 6 research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI journals/UGC/AICTE approved list of journals and at least 2 successful Ph.D. guided as Supervisor/Co-supervisor till the date of eligibility of promotion.
OR
At least 10 research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI journals/UGC/AICTE approved list of journals till the date of eligibility of promotion.
Job/Position Description-
The appointments for Assistant Professor shall be made as Probationer-Trainee for a period of two years and one year for Associate Professor & Professor on fixed remuneration as per notifications issued by the Govt. of Rajasthan vide their order no. F. 15(1) FD/Rules/2017 dated 30.10.2017 and further directions of the state government issued from time to time.
The candidates are required to pay application fee (Non-Refundable) with the each application form in the form of Demand Draft in favour of Registrar, Rajasthan Technical University Kota as under: Rs. 500/- for unreserved (UR), Rs. 250/- for SC/ST/EWS/MBC/OBC (Non-Creamy layer)/Disabled Persons.

Interested candidates may download the ‘Application Form’ from the website www.rtu.ac.in. Application form along with the prescribed fee must reach in the office of the undersigned by 30/11/2023, up to 5.00 p.m.
Applications completed in all respect must reach office of Registrar, Rajasthan Technical University, Rawatbhata Road, Kota-324010 on or before the last date and time, failing which candidature of the application shall not be considered for the post.
The Candidate must mention “Application for the post of _____________in the department of __________________ in RTU Kota” on the envelope containing the hard copy of the Form and Annexure. Further, the University will not be responsible for any postal delay.
