About- The Central University of Rajasthan (CURAJ) has been established by an Act of Parliament (Act 25 of 2009) as a new Central University and is fully funded by the Government of India. The Central University of Rajasthan is committed to inculcating and sustaining quality in all the dimensions of Higher Education, viz. teaching, learning, research, extension and governance while catering to regional and global needs. CURAJ offers 50+ Masters’s and Ph.D. programs in its 29 departments. Eligibility/Qualification–
For Associate Professor (Bio-Medical Engineering):
- B.E./B.Tech./B.S., and M.E./M.Tech/M.S. or Integrated M.Tech. in Biomedical Engineering with at least 55% (OBC) or 60% (UR) at the master’s level.
- Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years of teaching/research/industry experience equivalent to Assistant Professor, with at least 2 years post-Ph.D. experience.
- At least 7 research publications (with a total score of 75 as per UGC 2018 norms), and at least 2 post-Ph.D. publications in relevant SCI/UGC/AICTE journals.
- Specialization: Biomechanics, Biomaterials, or Biosignal Processing.
For Assistant Professor (Chemistry):
- Master’s Degree in Chemistry from an Indian or accredited foreign university.
- For SC post: Minimum 50% in Master’s degree, and 55% in at least two preceding exams. NET in Chemical Sciences (Ph.D. as per UGC regulations exempt from NET).
- For EWS post: Minimum 55% in Master’s degree, and 60% in at least two preceding exams. NET in Chemical Sciences (Ph.D. as per UGC regulations exempt from NET).
- Specialization: Physical Chemistry (SC post), Organic Chemistry (EWS post).
Job/Position Description-

No. 1494Â dated: 25.07.2025, Advt. No. 631 Dated: 14.05.2025 and Advt. No. 1896 Dated: 01.09.2025.Â
If sufficient number of applications are received for a particular position by November 15, 2025, it will be processed for interview. Applications received for other positions shall be considered for the next phase which will be notified in due course of time. The University shall update the vacancy positions periodically. Candidates are advised to apply before November 15, 2025.
