1. Professor (Level 14)

Ph.D. in relevant discipline.
Minimum 10 publications in peer-reviewed/UGC-listed journals.
Total Research Score of 120.
Minimum 10 years of teaching experience in University/College or research experience at equivalent level.
OR: An outstanding professional with Ph.D. and significant contribution to knowledge, with 10 years of experience.

2. Associate Professor (Level 13A)

Ph.D. in relevant discipline.
Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks.
Minimum 8 years of experience in teaching/research.
Minimum 7 publications in peer-reviewed/UGC-listed journals.
Total Research Score of 75.
For Performing Arts (Sitar): Good academic record with doctoral degree and performing ability of high professional standard OR traditional professional artist with ‘A’ grade AIR/Doordarshan status and 8 years experience.

3. Assistant Professor (Level 10)

Master’s Degree with 55% marks in relevant subject.
Must have cleared NET (UGC/CSIR) or SLET/SET.
OR: Ph.D. degree holders (awarded under 2009/2016 regulations) are exempted from NET.
For Performing Arts/Visual Arts: Master’s degree with 55% and NET/Ph.D. OR Traditional professional artist with ‘A’ grade AIR/Doordarshan status.
