Essential Qualification:
1. M. Sc. In Zoology with minimum of 55% marks (Relaxation of 5% for ST/SC/OBC)
2. Candidates should be UGC-NET/JRF/SLET qualified or Ph.D. degree holder in accordance with the UGC Regulations 2009 or UGC Regulations 2016.
Desirable Qualification:
Teaching Experience in the University/institute at the PG level in Zoology (specifically on Animal physiology/Sfatistics & Bio-informatics/Ecology & Environmental Biology/Biosystematics & Evolution).

(i) A Good academic record with at least 55 % marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is applied) at the Master Degree level in Statistics from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University,
(ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualification, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted at the UCC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC.
Notwithstanding anything contained in (ii) above, candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the IJGC Regulation 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of (ii).
