About- Dr. B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology was established in 1987 as Regional Engineering College. It was given the status of National Institute of Technology (Deemed University) by the Government of India on October 17, 2002, under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, New Delhi. Now the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India has declared the Institute as “Institute of National Importance” under Parliament-2007. Many reputed Industrial houses in the country visit the Institution and select the final year students as Engineers/ Management Trainees. As one of the National Institutes of Technology (NIT), the Institute has the responsibility of providing high-quality education in Engineering, Technology, and Sciences to produce a competent technical and scientific workforce for the country. Job/Position Description-
Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jalandhar invites eligible candidates for Walk-in-Interviews for Guest Faculty positions in multiple departments including Engineering, Science, Humanities, and Education. The engagement is purely temporary and contractual. Candidates with relevant qualifications, especially Ph.D. holders, are encouraged to appear for interviews on the specified dates.

- Deliver high-quality lectures and conduct tutorials/labs in the assigned department.
- Engage in curriculum development and departmental activities.
- Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated research in relevant specialization areas.
- Guest Faculty will be engaged for the upcoming academic session on a purely temporary basis.
💸 Consolidated Salary:
- Ph.D. holders: ₹80,000/- per month (including HRA)
- Non-Ph.D.: ₹67,000/- per month (including HRA)

Interested candidates must report at the office of Dean Faculty Welfare, NIT Jalandhar on the day of the interview at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time.
Bring original documents and one set of photocopies (qualifications, publications, experience certificates, etc.).
