About- Applications are invited for preparing a panel/selection of eligible candidates of Guest/Part-Time Teachers in different subjects of University Department and Constituent Colleges of V.K.S. University, Ara. The educational qualification, eligibility criteria, submission process of the application form, application fee and other conditions for engagement of Guest/Part-Time Teachers is available at the official website of the University:www.vksu.ac.in from 30.09.2022. The last date for submission of the Offline Application Form is 15.10.2022, with the required self-attested photocopy of all documents/certificates in the office of the Registrar By 5:00 P.M. The application must be sent to the Registrar Office through Speed/Registered post only.

Eligibility/Qualification–
A master’s degree with 55% marks or an equivalent grade on a point scale, wherever the grading is followed, in Concerned/Relevant/Allied Subjects Relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST/BC-I
(Non-creamy layer)/BC-II (Non-creamy layer) Candidate of the state, while Physically Challenged persons from any part of the country, will be given relaxation of 5% marks at Master’s Degree. But both benefits shall not be admissible to the same candidate. The Ph.D. will provide a relaxation of 5% (from 55% to 50% of the marks) to the Ph.D. Degree holders who have obtained their Master’s Degree before 19 September 1991.
Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/ SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree by •the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M. Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET:
Job/Position Description-
The appointment shall be for eleven months or till the regular appointment of the teacher is made, whichever is earlier.
- The honorarium will be consolidated at the rate of Rs. 1500/- per class with a maximum of Rs. 50000/- per month as per Bihar Government Education Department Sankalp No. 15/A2 01/2014-925 dated 13.04.2021.
The honorarium shall be disbursed once the grant from State Government is available.
The selected persons shall not be entitled to any other benefit like Provident Fund, Pension, Gratuity, Medical treatment, Seniority, Promotion etc., or any other benefits available to the University teachers appointed regularly.
Eligible candidates are requested to submit a demand draft of Rs. 1000/- only for General candidates, Rs. 750/- only for EBC/BC-I (Non-creamy layer)/BC-II (Non-creamy layer) candidates and Rs. 350/- for SC/ST candidates in favor of Registrar, V.K.S.U., Ara, Last date for submission of Application Form is 15.10.2022.
(Fee once remitted will not be refunded)
How to Apply-
The candidates are required to an Offline Application along with self-attested copies of all the relevant certificates to reach the office of the Registrar, V.K.S. University, Ara — 802301 through Speed/Registered Post only latest by 15.10.2022 till 5:00 P.M.
Candidate must mention Advertisement No. and Post Applied for on the top of the envelope. Candidates must attach a self-addressed envelope (Size 16 X 10 cm) along with the hard copy of the Application form Stamp of Rs. 40/- must be affixed to the envelope.
