Eligibility/Qualification –
The candidates should have PhD degree (Botany/ Life Science/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Biosciences/ Plant Science or any related field) from Indian University/Institutes with NIRF ranking of upto 20 (overall or in respective arears) or those who have done PhD from abroad will be eligible. The candidates must have at least two publications in Q1 or Q2 journals or SCOPUS/Web of Science listed journals. The upper Age Limit is 45 Years (5 years relaxation for Female/SC/ST/Physically Handicapped Candidate). All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules.
Desirable qualification: Candidates with research experience in the field of Cyanobacterial taxonomy, Bioinformatics, Physiology and biochemical studies, Molecular biology, Metabolite extraction and upscaling and protein purification with evidence of original research publications will be preferred.
Job/Position Description-
Applications are invited for the post Raja Jwala Prasad Post-Doctoral Fellowship with a fellowship amount of Rs. 60,000/-pm and HRA of Rs. 10,000/- per month, sanctioned under Institution of Eminence (IoE) Scheme of BHU for the duration of one year. In addition, a contingency amount of Rs. 50,000/- per annum will be provided. Fellows will also have access to comprehensive benefits, including health services, library and access to other resources, as per BHU rules. The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
