Eligibility/Qualification –
The candidates should have Ph. D. degree in Botany/Biotechnology/Plant Sciences/Life Science with specialization in the area of fungal-plant interaction/molecular biology. Applicants must have original research publications essentially in support of their specialization. Applicants must attach either provisional Ph. D. degree certificate or Ph. D. Award Certificate along with their applications. In absence of the said certificate, the application will be rejected.
Age: The upper age limit is 45 years (05 Year relaxation for female/SC/ST/physically handicapped candidates as per the GOI rules). The upper age limit will be counted on the last date of the application submission.
Job/Position Description-
Applications are invited for Raja Jwala Prasad, Postdoctoral Fellowship under the Institutions of Eminence Scheme (IOE), Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi with a Salary @ 60,000 per month and 10,000 House Rent Allowance (HRA) per month along with a contingency amount of Rs. 50,000/- per annum initially sanctioned for 01 Year under Prof. R.N. Kharwar, Department of Botany, Institute of Sciences, BHU, Varanasi. The position is purely temporary and may be extended for another year based on performance and the availability of funds under IoE.
