Eligibility-
- Ph.D. (thesis submitted/degree awarded) in chemistry from a reputed institute in India, and a minimum of 60% or equivalent grade from Graduation onward, and 55% or equivalent grade in class 10th and 12th Desirable Skills:
- Experience in Schlenk techniques is highly preferred
- Experience in the synthesis of main group or organometallic compounds and their analysis with state-of-the-art analytical techniques Â
- Good project management and communication skills

Job/Position Description-
The Main Group Organometallic Chemistry Lab at IIT Gandhinagar, led by Prof. Priyabrata Ghana, has an immediate opening for a postdoctoral fellow position. The appointment is for 6 months.
Job Description:
- The candidate will work on design and synthesis of low-valent main group and transition metal compounds for activation of small molecules (e.g., N2, H2, CO, CO2, ethylene, etc.)
- The candidate is also expected to be involved in training new M.Sc. and Ph.D. students and writing manuscripts for publications
- Remuneration: Rs. 72,000/- to 84,000/- per month (Consolidated)
