Eligibility/Qualification–

Postdoc with experience abroad

To be a foreign or Brazilian researcher who has developed a research project abroad for at least 12 months or has obtained a PhD degree in a foreign institution, in one of the areas of research of PrInt-Unifesp;
To have a scientific production compatible with the position in one of the research areas of PrInt-Unifesp;
To have an ORCID or Research Gate registration number.(Registration is free and can be subscribed at https://orcid.org/ or https://www.researchgate.net).

Young Talent with experience abroad

To be a foreign or Brazilian researcher who has developed a research project abroad for at least 24 months or has obtained a PhD degree in a foreign institution.
To be a permanent resident in a foreign country.
To have a scientific production compatible with the position in one of the research areas of PrInt-Unifesp;
To have the ORCID or Research Gate registration number. (Registration is free and can be done at https://orcid.org/ or https://www.researchgate.net).

Job/Position Description-

The Rectorate for Graduate Studies and Research of the Universidade Federal de São Paulo (Unifesp) makes public the call for the selection of candidates for Postdoc or Young Talent fellowships with experience abroad, related and not related to the projects approved at Unifesp’s Institutional Internationalization Project (PrInt-Unifesp) in the framework of Capes Call N.41/2017.

Postdoc with experience abroad: To attract researchers or faculty, Brazilian or foreign, residing in Brazil or abroad, who have relevant academic and scientific experience abroad (as full PhD abroad, postdoc or sandwich doctorate for at least 12 months abroad), for teaching or research activities in projects and Graduate Programs participating in the PrInt-Unifesp.

Young Talent with experience abroad: To attract talented young researchers, Brazilian or foreign, residing abroad, who have relevant academic and scientific experience abroad (full PhD degree abroad, sandwich PhD or postdoc for at least 24 months abroad) for teaching or research activities in projects or Graduate Programs participating in the PrInt-Unifesp.

Duration:
- Postdoc: The duration of the fellowship will be minimum of 6 months and maximum of 12 or 24 months according to the project.
- Young Talent: The duration of the fellowship will be minimum of 6 months and maximum of 12 months.
Fellowship and Benefits: Monthly allowances, flight tickets, installation assistance and health insurance according to Capes Call N.41/2017.

Documentation–

Applicants must provide all documents listed below, and all of them must be submitted in English.
a) Complete the electronic application form.
b) Research project. Emphasize the relevance of the proposal in terms of the appropriation of a new domain area or technology platform for the development of one of the areas of research of PrInt-Unifesp. Include a plan of activities with schedule. The document must have a maximum of ten (10) pages of spacing 1.5, Times New Roman 12, with margins of 3.5 cm to the left and 1.5 cm to the right;
c) Curriculum Vitae. An updated CV for non-Brazilian applicants or a Lattes CV for Brazilian applicants;
d) Link of Lattes Curriculum of the host researcher. It is mandatory that the faculty host to be accredited to a Graduate Program participating at PrInt-Unifesp;
e) Acceptance Letter of the host researcher, including title of the project, duration of the project (start and end dates), in letterhead and signed (digitally).
