Postdoc Position in Nanomedicine and Immunotherapy: RWTH Aachen University Clinic is seeking to fill 4 PhD, 2 Postdoc and 1 Technician positions as part of the DFG-funded Research and Training Group “Tumor-targeted Drug Delivery” and the ERC-funded projects “Meta-Targeting” and “BeaT-IT”. Successful candidates will work at the Institute for Experimental Molecular Imaging, located at the Center for Biohybrid Medical Systems.

Eligibility/Qualification:
Ideal candidates should have received high-profile theoretical and practical training at leading universities and research groups. Relevant fields of study include biology, biomedical engineering, biotechnology, chemistry, medicine and pharmacy. Excellent writing skills and fluency in English are expected.
Job Description:
The overarching goal of the projects is to develop novel materials and methods to improve the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. The focus is on understanding tumor biology and pathophysiology, and on improving tumor-targeted drug delivery and anticancer therapy efficacy. The successful candidates will work on bioprinting and pharmacological modulation of tumor blood vessels, Kupfer cell targeting, RNA delivery and liver inflammation.
