IIT (BHU) Varanasi invites applications for PostDoctoral Fellow at IIT (BHU) from eligible and interested candidates

About- Applications are invited for the post of “Post Doctoral Fellow (PDF)” and “Senior Research Fellow (SRF)” on the contract basis in a research project titled “Assessment of Safe Parting Thickness and Optimum Goaf Edge Support Requirement for Extraction of Pillars” funded by M/s Coal India Limited. The posts are co-terminus with the project.

Research/Job Area- Metallurgical Engg./material Science/ Mechanical Engg./Ceramic or related field

Location- Varanasi

Eligibility/Qualification–

PhD degree in Metallurgical Engg./material Science/ Mechanical Engg./Ceramic or related field. Experience in steel making, processing, microstructure and mechanical properties are desirable.

Age Limit: The upper Age Limit is preferably 35 Years. Age relaxation for reserved category candidates as per GOI rules is applicable. Also, in case of exceptional candidates with research experience found suitable for the project requirements, age criterion may be relaxed.

Job/Position Description-

Advertisement for post-doctoral staff in Jindal Stainless Limited project

Applications are invited for the post of Post doctoral staff at a Fixed Stipend/Fellowship/Salary amount of Rs.50,000/- p. m. in a Jindal Stainless Limited funded Project entitled “Development of 410L SS rebar at RSSL, JSL” sanctioned up to Dec, 2025 and may be extended based on the funding. The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The candidate should possess the PhD degree in Metallurgical Engg./material Science/ Mechanical Engg./Ceramic or related field.
