Research/Job Area- Electrical Engineering with microelectronics/ semiconductor background.

Location- Mumbai

Eligibility/Qualification–

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

PhD in Electrical Engineering with microelectronics/ semiconductor background.

Strongly Desirable Skills:

Experience with Synopsys TCAD – Device and Circuit design.
Expertise in fabrication, characterization and simulation of semiconductor devices.
Ability to communicate effectively with SemiX staff and faculty.

Desirable Skills:

Knowledge of semiconductor devices.
Experience in working with Sentaurus TCAD tools simulation.
Strong analytical and critical thinking.
Experience in mentoring students or junior researchers.
Excellent technical writing and reporting skills.
Cleanroom expertise for novel fabrication flows.
Experience in semiconductor modelling and simulations.
Knowledge of semiconductor technology and materials processing (anneal, sputter, plasma, implantation, lithography).
Expertise in device characterization and data analysis.
Passion for teaching and mentoring in technical fields.
Perform TCAD modelling and simulation of semiconductor devices using tools like Synopsys Sentaurus.
Design and deliver technical training programs for students, faculty, and industry participants.
Coordinate and mentor junior researchers and course participants.
Develop process simulation flows and collaborate with fab teams for process integration.

Job Profile:

The candidate will support ongoing projects related to semiconductor device modelling, assist in simulations, and contribute to research and documentation.
Contribute to generating summary reports and supporting the industry and university affiliate program.
Act as a support point of contact for industry and academic institutional partners.
Assist in managing company-specific research and training engagements.

Pay Details: Level PR – O2 : Salary range from Rs.42000 to Rs. 84000 + Rs.7500.00/- Out Of Campus Allowance (if applicable) p.m.

The position is temporary for a period of 1 year and tenable only for the duration of the project. • The appointment is for time bound project and the candidate is required to work mainly for the successful completion of the project.
