Assam University’s main campus is situated at Dargakona, about 20 km away from Silchar. The campus is set amid sprawling hillocks and the typical landscape of the northeast. The campus is spread over 600 acres and provides an ideal environment for researchers, students, and people interested in academic excellence. The other campus of the university is situated at Diphu in the district of Karbi Anglong, Assam.

Eligibility/Qualification–
- M.Sc. and PhD. in Bioinformatics
- Working experience in any Bioinformatics Laboratory.
Job/Position Description-
One post of Project Scientist and one post of Attendant are lying vacant in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology Centre, Assam University, Silchar.
