Essential Qualifications

  • Post Graduate Degree (including Integrated PG Degree) with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience, OR
  • PhD in Engineering / Technology

Desirable Experience

  • 2–3 years of Research & Development experience in:
    • Industrial or Academic Institutions
    • Science & Technology Organizations
    • Scientific research activities and services

Age Limit

  • Maximum 40 years as on 28/01/2026
  • Age relaxation applicable for reserved categories as per Government of India norms

Research Project Title

“Noninvasive and in situ forming peptide-polymer hydrogel containing CPP decorated nanoparticles/photoresponsive agents with crystallin aggregates disaggregating propensity for potential cataract therapy”


Principal Investigator

Dr. Jiban Jyoti Panda
Scientist–E, Institute of Nano Science and Technology (INST), Mohali

  • Conduct advanced research under the ICMR-funded project.
  • Design, synthesis, and characterization of peptide-polymer hydrogels and nanoparticles.
  • Perform experimental research related to biomedical nanotechnology.
  • Data analysis, documentation, and preparation of research reports.
  • Assist the Principal Investigator in project execution and publications.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary research teams.

Nature & Duration of Appointment

  • The position is purely temporary and contractual.
  • Initially for one year, extendable based on:
    • Satisfactory performance
    • Availability of project funds
  • The appointment is co-terminus with the project.
