Eligibility/Qualification & Job/Position Description-
Applications are invited from eligible candidates to fill up the following positions in the ICGEB-DBT BioCARe Processing and Monitoring Unit (PMU) at International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB), New Delhi. The project is funded by Department of Biotechnology (Govt. of India). The appointment will be for limited period depending upon funding support from DBT (govt of India).
1. Program Manager
Educational Qualification of Applicants: Ph.D. in Life Sciences with 3 years’ experiencein R&D in academic institution or industry
Desirable: Experience in business management, project management in reputed academic institution or industry, along with research publications in reputed journals. Emoluments: As per DBT guidelines
2. Research Associate
Educational Qualification of Applicants: Ph.D in Life Sciences with at least one research publication in reputed indexed Journal
Desirable: minimum 2 years’ experience in R&D in academic institution or industry, along with research publications in reputed journal.
Emoluments: As per DBT guidelines
3. Project Officer
Educational Qualification of Applicants: Master’s degree in life-sciences with 4 years’ experience in R&D in academic institution or industry OR Doctoral degree in life-sciences
Desirable: Experience in the area of project management in academic institution or industry Emoluments: As per DBT guidelines
4. Senior Project Assistant (Administration)
Educational Qualification of Applicants: Bachelor’s degree (from a recognized university /Institute) with minimum 5 years’ relevant work experience in a reputed organization
Desirable: Experience in Secretarial work/ Personnel & Administration
Emoluments: As per DBT guidelines
5. Senior Project Assistant (Finance)
Educational Qualification of Applicants: Bachelor’s degree (from a recognized university/
Institute) with minimum 5 years’ relevant work experience in a reputed organization
Desirable: Experience inFinance & Accounts /Stores & Purchase
Emoluments: As per DBT guidelines
6. Office Attendant
Educational Qualification of Applicants: Passed 12th class schooling from a recognized Board with 5 years’ experience in administrative work OR Bachelor’s degree with 2 years’ experience in administrative work
Desirable: Knowledge of basic office clerical work and use of computers with its basic applications Emoluments: As per DBT guidelines
