Join our consultancy research project focused on developing carbon nanotube reinforced polyethylene fiber and fabric for high-strength applications. This project, sponsored by NTT M and the Ministry of Textiles, presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge advancements in materials engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.
Designation: Research Associate (RA-I)
Research Area: Nanotechnology, Materials Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Textile Engineering, Applied Chemistry
Location: Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, India
Eligibility/Qualification: PhD in Materials Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Textile Engineering, Applied Chemistry, or a relevant field. Candidates must have research exposure in polymer matrix composites, structural fibers, their synthesis, and characterization.
Emoluments: Rs. 42,000 per month for a duration of 21 months
Duration: 21 months, in alignment with the project’s timeline
Job Description: The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting research-related experimental analysis and preparing comprehensive reports for the consultancy project.
