- Desirable experience and qualifications: Ph.D. thesis in either in Partial differential equations or in several complex variables.
- Age limit: Must not be over 35 years as on 3rd September 2025, which can be relaxed for certain reserved categories as per rules of Government of India.
Job/Position Description-
Applications are invited for research associate (RA-1) position under the supervision of Dr. Sushil Gorai, Associate Professor, Department of Mathematics and Statistics, IISER KOLKATA with PhD in analysis background. The position is for only for a few months. The project is funded by SERBDST. Rules of SERB applies for this position
- Title of the project: “Approximation of biholomorphic maps and the Loewner theory in several complex variables”
- Funding agency: SERB-DST.
- Principle Investigator: Dr. Sushil Gorai, Associate Professor, Department Mathematics and Statistics.
- Remuneration: 58000 INR per month + 24% HRA.
- Tenure: Till January 24, 2026.
- Selection Criteria: The selection for the Research Associate position will be made based on the past academic record as well as the performance in the interview. 9. No of posts: 1
