Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), IOC Bhubaneswar Campus invites applications for Research Associate Positions at ICT from eligible and interested candidates

About- Established on October 1, 1933 as University Department of Chemical Technology (popularly called UDCT) of the University of Bombay (now Mumbai), with the noble intention of advancing India’s knowledge reserves in chemical science and technology, the Institute has grown to become a premier (deemed) university devoted to education, training, research and industrial collaboration in chemical engineering, chemical technology, applied chemistry, pharmacy, biotechnology and bio-processing.

Location- Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), IOC Bhubaneswar Campus

Eligibility/Qualification–

Ph.D. in Chemistry (Organic/organometallic synthesis) with M.Sc Chemistry minimum 55 % mark. Preference will be given to those with experience in carrying out highly sensitive reactions using the Schlenk line and handling sensitive reagents like Na/K/BuLi.

Job/Position Description-

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the Research Associate post to work on the project entitled “Development of the process for the synthesis of Bis(trimethylsilyl) ferrocene”. The details of the post are as follows:

Project Duration	Two years
Selection procedure	Selection will be based on an online interview conducted by a committee. The committee’s recommendation will be final.
