Eligibility/Qualification –
- Essential:
- Ph.D. with a first division or 60% marks
- 3 years of research experience
- At least 1 research paper in an SCI/NAAS rated (> 4) journal
- Desirable:
- Research experience in molecular biology techniques (gene cloning, expression, knock-out construction, etc.) with nitrogen-fixing bacteria.
Job/Position Description-
Applications are invited for the temporary position of Research Associate (RA) under the ICAR project entitled “Genetic Modification to improve Biological Nitrogen Fixation for augmenting nitrogen need of Cereals.” Initial engagement will be for 5 months, extendable based on project continuation and candidate performance.
The selected candidate will be involved in research activities related to improving biological nitrogen fixation in cereals. This role requires proficiency in molecular biology techniques and prior experience in relevant research areas.
