Eligibility/Qualification–
- PhD in Physics, Chemistry, Biophysics, Biochemistry, or related fields. Candidates who have submitted their doctoral thesis are also eligible.
- Strong publication record in relevant research areas.
- Experience in cell biology, biochemistry, and microscopy techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Job Description:
The Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar is seeking a motivated Research Associate to join the Laboratory of Soft and Living Materials. This role involves cutting-edge research on enzyme-driven active matter for controlled intracellular transport.
The selected candidate will:
- Lead experimental studies focusing on enzyme-driven active matter systems.
- Design and execute experiments, manage cell culture facilities.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and mentor graduate and undergraduate students.
- Support grant proposal development and foster research collaborations.
