Eligibility/Qualification–
- Qualification and Experience:
- Ph.D. in Physics/Chemistry/Material Science or M.Tech. in Material Science/Nanotechnology/Energy Science/Renewable Energy with Three (03) Years of Research and Development Experience in academic or industrial institution.
- At least three (03) research papers published in SCI/SCIE journals.
- Age Limit: The upper age limit for the post of project scientist shall be 40 years as on 10.07.2024, which is relaxed upto 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to Schedule Castes/Schedule Tribes, Women, Physically Handicapped and OBC applicants as per Govt. of India rules & regulations.

Applications are invited from the Indian citizens for filling up one post of Project Scientist-II in a research project entitled Biomass nanocomposites with reduced volatile matter as the substitution of conventional coal for co-firing operation in thermal power plants sponsored by Department of Science and Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of
India.

- The candidate must furnish about 500 words abstract of the R&D works he/she plans to pursue on the research topics proposed in the advertisement along with the application and detailed CV focusing research work (especially for the candidates applying for PDF).
- The candidates applying for Project Scientist-II are required to do 5-10 minutes presentation based the proposed work and the work undertaken during the Ph.D.
