Eligibility/Qualificationā
- Project Research Scientist III: PhD (awarded) in orthopedic biomechanics and implant design or related domains from CFTIs or other reputed universities. At least three publications in peer-reviewed journals in the domain of orthopedic biomechanics and implant design. Expertise in mandibular biomechanics and developing CT-specific patient-specific implants.
- Project Research Scientist II: Master’s degree with five years of research experience in orthopedic biomechanics and implant design or related domains. At least one publication in peer-reviewed journals in the allied domain. Expertise in developing CT-based patient-specific implants and fractographic studies.
Job/Position Description-
Indian nationals are invited to apply for project appointments under the project titled “Implantation of the Additively Manufactured Porous Implant with Biotechnology-Inspired Functional Lattice Structures on Rabbits Femur and Evaluation of Its Osseointegration.” The positions are offered on a contractual basis with consolidated pay, renewable yearly or up to the duration of the project. The project will run until 29th February 2028.

Project Research Scientist III:
- Lead research efforts in the implementation of additively manufactured porous implants with functional lattice structures.
- Oversee the experimental setup and evaluation of osseointegration on rabbit femur models.
- Publish research findings in reputable journals and contribute to project reports.
Project Research Scientist II:
- Assist in the research and development of implants and their evaluation in preclinical settings.
- Support the development of CT-based patient-specific implants and fractographic studies.
- Contribute to manuscript writing and preparation of research reports.
