Eligibility/Qualification–
Essential Qualification:
Master Degree in Chemistry/industrial chemistry/Chemical Engineering/Metallurgy with qualification (a) National Eligibility Tests– CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship or GATE or
(b) Qualified National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER.
and
Two years of research experience in academia, industry or any other research project.
Preference will be given to the Ph.D. completed candidates
Job/ Position Description-
Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in the DST- Water Technologies Cell Project entitled “Technology development for recovery and reuse of HCl from industrial waste water” under the joint supervision of Prof. Ganga Ram Chaudhary, Department of Chemistry (Principal Investigator) and Dr. Ramesh Kumar (Co-Principal Investigator), Department of Sophisticated Analytical Instrumentation Facility (SAIF), Panjab University, Chandigarh.
Number of Positions: 1 (one)
Fellowship:
Monthly emoluments of the fellowship shall be as per DST norms (42000 per month +18% HRA), the duration of the fellowship is for the period of one year and then extended further based on the performance of the candidate.
Selection process:
Eligible and shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview in the Department of Chemistry, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
