Eligibility/Qualification–
Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, invites applications for 15 positions (UR – 07, OBC – 03, SC – 03, ST – 01, EWS – 01) of Teaching Assistants in the Undergraduate Programme. The details are as follows:

Job/Position Description-
Annual Remuneration–
- Emoluments will be Rs.25,000 + HRA p.m. After two years, the salary will be fixed at Rs.28,000 + HRA p.m.
- For candidates selected through National Eligibility Tests or GATE, emoluments will be Rs. 31,000 + HRA p.m. After two years, the salary will be fixed at Rs.35,000 + HRA p.m.
- Duration– Engagement is purely temporary on a contract basis, initially for a period of one year and renewable annually up to a maximum duration of five years, based on the satisfactory performance and requirements of the Institute. Contract tenure will commence from the date of joining.
- Selection Procedure: The selection will be based on a test followed by an interview for the shortlisted candidates which will be conducted at the Institute on a date which will be notified later.
