Job Description:
Applications are invited from Indian nationals for a Walk-in Interview at IIT Delhi for the position of Research Associate. This role is based in the Department of Chemical Engineering and forms part of the project “Development of Indigenous High Tenacity next-generation PBO Fiber,” funded by the Directorate of Futuristic Technology Management (DFTM). The appointment is contractual and co-terminus with the project duration.

The selected candidate will work on the development of next-generation high-tenacity PBO fibers, involving advanced research in polymer synthesis and materials chemistry. Responsibilities include conducting experiments, data analysis, and contributing to project deliverables as per DFTM requirements.

- Attach proof of educational qualifications (original and copy), percentage of marks for each examination, detailed work experience, and a recent passport-size photograph.
- If already employed at the Institute/IRD, applications must be forwarded by the current establishment/section.
- SC/ST candidates are eligible for a 5% relaxation in marks. Retired/superannuated government employees’ salary will be fixed per IRD norms.
