About- Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), situated at Thiruvananthapuram is a Deemed to be University under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956. IIST functions as an autonomous body under the Department of Space, Government of India. The idea of such an institute was mooted keeping in mind the need for high quality manpower for the Indian Space Research Organization, one of world’s leading scientific organizations engaged in space research and space applications. Research/Job Area- Data Sciences, Statistics, Computational and applied Mathematics, Computer Science and Engineering or areas with significant application of Data Sciences and Computer Programming

Location- Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), Thiruvananthapuram

Eligibility/Qualification-

Ph.D. in Data Sciences, Statistics, Computational and applied Mathematics, Computer Science and Engineering or areas with significant application of Data Sciences and Computer Programming. Teaching experience at university/college level (or equivalent) is desirable.

Age Limit maximum 40 years

Job/Position Description-

Salary: INR 80,000 – INR 1,20,000 per month (commensurate with experience)
