About- The National Biological Institute, an autonomous institute under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, is a prestigious scientific organization dedicated to ensuring the quality of biologicals in the country. The institute invites applications for the following positions on a direct recruitment basis.

Research/Job Area-

Biologicals and Biotherapeutics, Vaccine Development, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Immunohematology, Blood Transfusion, Pharmacology, Bacteriology, Serology, Hematology, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Molecular Biology, Physiology, and related fields.

Eligibility/Qualification–

Scientist (Grade I):

Medical: MBBS from an MCI-recognized medical college and a PG Medical Degree in relevant fields with 10 years of experience.
Non-Medical: Master’s Degree with at least 60% marks in Microbiology, Clinical Microbiology, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Biochemistry, etc., with 10 years of relevant experience in quality control testing, dossier review, or research.

Scientist (Grade II):

Medical: MBBS with a PG Medical Degree in relevant fields and 5 years of experience.
Non-Medical: Master’s Degree with at least 60% marks in relevant fields and 7 years of relevant experience.

Junior Scientist:

Qualification: Master’s Degree with at least 60% marks in relevant fields with 4 years of relevant experience.

Desirable: Publications in indexed journals are preferred for all positions.

The selected candidates will be responsible for:

Conducting quality control testing of biologicals and biotherapeutics.
Reviewing technical dossiers related to vaccines and biotherapeutics.
Managing safety assessments and performance evaluations of in vitro diagnostic medical devices.
Overseeing the evaluation and review of adverse events and pharmacovigilance data.
Managing quality systems in line with ISO standards.
Conducting research in biological and biomedical sciences.
