Eligibility/Qualification –
Essential Qualification
- Ph.D. in Physics or Chemistry.
- Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis are also eligible to apply.
- Applicants should have at least two research papers published in SCI-indexed journals.
Desirable Qualification
Candidates with expertise in the following areas will be preferred:
- Synthesis of halide perovskite-based materials for emerging applications
- Temperature-dependent dielectric, ferroelectric, and electrical transport property studies
- Raman spectroscopy, microscopy, and group theoretical analysis
- Density Functional Theory (DFT) and finite element simulations
- Optoelectronics and materials science research

Applications are invited for the temporary position of Research Associate under the DRDOCARS-funded project titled “2D and 3D Semiconductor Halide Perovskite Single Crystals for Gamma Radiation Detection” at the New Chemistry Unit, JNCASR, Bengaluru. Designation: Research Associate
