Eligibility/Qualification-

Essential qualification	Ph.D in the relevant area of Physics/Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering with specialization/research experience in Photonics/Optics/lasers and Laser-assisted systems and applications.
Desirable	Candidates with research/industrial experience in the field of photonics, fiber optics, lasers will be given an advantage. Expertise in advanced numerical simulation in ultrafast optics/nonlinear optics and experimental experience in Fiber laser/optics are highly desirable. Working knowledge in AI/ML, experience in system integration, controls, automation, and prior experience in laser-assisted system such as manufacturing, are preferable.

Position	Research Associate (Postdoctoral Position)

Stipend	INR 61,000/- per month + 27 % HRA (as per DST norms)
Duration	1 Year(Initial Contract) Note: The original agreement is for one year. Subject to satisfactory performance, the contract can be extended to two more years or till the completion of the project.
