Designation & Research Areas:

Scientist-F (Level-13A)
- No. of Posts: 1 (Deputation/Absorption)
- Key Focus: Industrial biotechnology, biomanufacturing, managing pilot and GMP facilities.
Associate Plant Manager (Scientist-E, Bioprocess Plant Engineering, Level-13)
- No. of Posts: 1 (Direct Recruitment)
- Key Focus: Biomass/agri-food processing, bioprocess plant & product commercialization.
Scientist-C (Level-11)
- No. of Posts: 2 (Direct Recruitment – 1 UR, 1 OBC-NCL)
- Key Focus: Research in Chemical/Biological/Agricultural sciences relating to agri-food, bioprocessing, nutrition, etc.

Engage in leading-edge, translational R&D in agri-food and biomanufacturing.
Manage and operate high-end facilities (GMP, pilot plant, upscaling units).
Publish research, secure patents, and guide technology transfer.
Lead/mentor teams and contribute to institute’s strategic directions.
