This research project aims to create catalytic systems that utilize visible light for the sustainable activation of carbon-hydrogen (C–H) bonds in simple hydrocarbons. The outcomes are expected to lay the groundwork for efficient synthesis of high-value molecules, including pharmaceuticals and agrochemical intermediates while reducing the reliance on harsh reagents and high temperatures.
